Elderly Journal, on concern the government, against the "weak elderly people"

There are many journals that focus on development issues as well as specific scientific, and this article will discuss more about the journal elderly. As can be seen from the canopy journal, the focus of the journal is on the decrepit as the subject matter discussed from all kinds of perspectives. Of course, such a journal published by the many educational institutions and other institutions that are interested in improving the welfare of the elderly - as well as other institutions that are befokus on the study of government policy on the social class. Outside of this, the elderly segment of the population whose level of development is very rapid. In Southeast Asia alone the number of elderly people reached 142 million people with a growth that is likely to continue to increase from year to year.
If someone said that the problem of the elderly is closely linked to poverty and poor health, it may be the true. Several papers in many journals elderly often touched on how to reconcile the level of life of the elderly in some countries, where most of them are forced to live in poverty and are still forced to work hard in old age. When compared to life expectancy in Indonesia in 1980 only amounts to an average of 52 years, while in 2010 the number jumped to 64 years. Rising life expectancy also brings other consequences, namely the increasing growth in the number of elderly people in Indonesia.

To what extent, Elderly, their rights are protected.

Here people have already found one major problem associated with the quality of life of the elderly, the economic and social problems. On the one hand the increase in life expectancy is a great honor for a country. On the other hand the rate of population growth in old age could be a problem in itself if not accompanied by adequate policies. One of the most crucial policy in the handling of the elderly group is policy related to the health and well-being. According to the journal elderly, in Indonesia alone, the government has poured some kind of law that governs the issue, which basically gives the respect and homage to the old age. The tribute includes:
• assistance and social protection.
• Legal services for the elderly as well as easy to access.
• Ease of use of infrastructure, facilities, and various public facilities.
• Providing services employment, education, health, mental, spiritual, religious, and so forth.
Nevertheless, the most important are: whether the basic rights of the elderly have been met with good? Some government regulation, among other things and two Presidential Decree (Presidential) is basically a normative regulations which provide many benefits to the elderly, including the establishment of the Commission for the Elderly. The commission members are appointed by the president and implemented and supervised by the Ministry of Social Affairs. Most elderly journal wrote that the commission was set up with some specific goals include:
• To improve the quality of health care for the elderly.
• To increase coverage and types of care for the elderly.
• To add to the role and the ability of families and communities in caring for the frail health.
• In order to sustain the emergence of consciousness as well as promoting the participation of all levels of community members in solving all kinds of problems that might whack the elderly.
As for the elder
ly commissionformed for the purpose of improving the quality of life of the elderly, as well as to improve the level of health as well as helping elderly people reach old age future filled with happiness. Still according to the journal elderly, there is an increasing trend when we speak of government's concern towards the weak. Nevertheless, it seems that not all the goals mandated by law can be implemented. This is partly caused by several things, namely the uneven dissemination of government programs aimed at the welfare of the elderly. And the second: not the creation of awareness in the minds of many people, that the frail is not an interruption, but the parties should be treated well. Journal of elderly also launched several other problems that plagued most of the decrepit living in many countries, namely poverty. This latter becomes mines painful not only for the elderly but also for most of the rest of Indonesia.
Acute poverty has become one of the biggest obstacles to business welfare of the elderly. As reported by the journal elderly, there are some family members who are forced to live very poor, which is not affordable health facilities let alone get the house habitable. Usually there are one or two elderly people in a very poor family home. At this point, his case is how then raised some very poor families out of poverty. Elderly living below the poverty line in turn would be difficult to gain access to adequate health, at least according to most journals elderly.
